Expedition Route

Rona and Cathy will fly to Oslo from London, and then on to Tromso. Meeting up with Per-Thore, they then travel by road to the starting point at Styggedalen.

From there the three people, with 24 dogs, travel by foot and paw north-east through 650 kilometres of Arctic wilderness to the Nordkapp, Europe's most northerly point. They travel past Norway's biggest mountains, and past vast lake regions.

The journey should take about two weeks, with one re-supply from a pre-stocked dump halfway. The team returns to Tromso by boat.
